Training
Jenn’s DEI training includes earning a Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Certificate from Cornell University and an Equity and Diversity Certificate from the University of Minnesota. (Please see below for a list of courses taken). She also completed the SEED (Seeking Educational Equity and Diversity) training. Jenn has also completed the ASCD Foundations of Fostering Equity in Schools Training, as well as the Program for School Management and Leadership which is a joint program through the Harvard Graduate School of Education and the Harvard Business School, focused on school change. Most recently, Jenn has earned a graduate certificate in Ethnic Studies from San Francisco State.
She is experienced in developing and leading workshops on identity, equity, belonging, social justice, disability, and Ethnic Studies. Jenn has served as a member of the diversity committees in schools for the last 5 years, designing, implementing, and assessing diversity and inclusion initiatives, and Ethnic Studies Programs. Further, she is practiced in developing increased diversity in recruitment, hiring, and retention as well as increased experiences of inclusion for employees and clients.
